A major renovation changes far more than your home. For months, your routines are disrupted, hundreds of decisions have to be made, budgets evolve, and unexpected conditions come up as an old house is opened up.

Our job is to guide you through all of it.

Whitney leads the design, shaping layouts, materials, and details around the house and the people who live there. David leads construction, managing permitting, budgeting, scheduling, logistics, and the realities of building in Philadelphia. Our carpentry team brings those plans to life, solving problems and refining details along the way.

There is no handoff between design and construction. We’re both involved from the first walkthrough through final construction, so design decisions, costs, and what we uncover in the field can be worked through together.

We take on a limited number of projects each year so we can stay closely involved in each one.

Beautiful work is expected. But a successful renovation is also about realistic budgets, good planning, clear communication, and knowing who is responsible when something doesn’t go according to plan.
